Old Fashioned Girls Tea and Social Club

The Social Club affords a wholesome setting for girls ages eleven to eighteen to make friends, enjoy "dressing up" in Victorian and Edwardian style clothing, have "tea" (and other soft beverages) and participate in fun and educational activities.

Teas will be held the second Sunday of each month at 1pm at Solitude House Museum
7 River Road, High Bridge, NJ 08829
(Depending on Holiday and School Event Schedules)

The first Tea will be held on April 9th
Teas will provide traditional fare such as finger sandwiches, cookies and teacakes. This will serve as the girls' lunch, so please come hungry.

At future Social Club events the girls will enjoy activities such as teas, croquet, badminton, ice-skating, picnics, vintage dance, crafts, cooking, and field trips to museums and gardens. Service opportunities such as visits to nursing homes are also planned.
