Dickens Days Skirt

A gray wool skirt, gathered around the entire waist, back hook-and-eye closure. Typical of the styles of the 1840's. Wear this one with one or more flounced petticoats (cotton, flannel, or quilted for warmth, if you wish to be really authentic) but no hoop crinoline...they came later in about the mid-1850's.
