Our gored skirts are based on the styles of the late 1890’s through 1909. Back hook-and-eye closure with slight gathers. Available as shown in navy with a silky pale pink lining. Also available in garnet, gray, green, camel, red, brown, and in various plaids.

We line all our wool skirts because they just feel so much better to wear! In their day, these skirts would generally not have been lined at all, but would have been worn with several lovely petticoats. We use contrasting linings for fun. With the lining, you can “make do” with just one frothy petticoat to give the flared hem its desired fullness. (But don’t be timid – two or three rustling petticoats are even better!)
