Pale pink 1850's dinner dress or ball gown. Tissue taffeta, light as a feather and has such a lovely feminine rustle when you move.

Dress is one piece with a boned bodice, back hidden hook-and-eye closure. Patterned after a Godey's plate of the period. Can be worn with a hoop crinoline (sold separately) or with multiple petticoats (or both!) Hoop crinolines were introduced in the mid-1850's, about the time of this dress. It can be worn authentically with or without.

As shown, approximate modern size 6 (waist about 23" even though the bust is approximately 36"...you really need a corset for this one unless you work out at the gym six days a week!) But, Wow!, what a look when you have it on!

Price: $1500.00

As shown in pink or in other pale colors, it can be worn as an authentically styled 1850's wedding dress (white wedding dresses were still not common at that time, although they were becoming popular since Queen Victoria chose white for her dress in 1840.)

Available in white as a lovely Victorian style wedding dress in a modern day ceremony.
